With cold weather periodically coming into our area during the winter season, we have had many inquiries as to what our guidelines are when it comes to making decisions about outdoor recess.
- Temperature 20 or above - Outside Recess
- Temperature 16 - 20 - Outside with indoor option for students who wish to remain inside or lack adequate clothing
- Temperature 10 - 15 - Abbreviated recess of 5-10 minutes with the same option for 16 to 20 range.
- Temperature 10 or below - Inside recess
Windchill will be taken into consideration.
PLEASE make sure that your child comes dressed for the cooler temps, with coat, gloves and proper foot wear.
