Pasadena Park Virtual Snow Day Schedule (2020-2021)
Pasadena Families:
In the event of inclement weather conditions in which staff and students cannot safely travel to school buildings, West Valley School District will “pilot” a virtual snow day. When this is necessary, families will receive communication from WVSD via Bright Arrow message center indicating we are implementing a virtual snow day. The virtual snow day schedule will include real-time virtual learning with your classroom teacher as well as independent work activities.
- Students enrolled in the hybrid (Cohort A and Cohort B) model will follow the snow day schedule below if it is their cohort’s onsite day. Students scheduled to learn from home on a snow day will follow their normal at-home learning plan provided by their classroom teacher. Cohort onsite Wednesdays are listed at the bottom of the schedule.
- All students attending 100 % Virtual Online classes in grades 1-5 will follow their normal at-home learning schedule provided by their teacher
- All 4th and 5th grade students will follow their normal Online schedule provided by their teacher until such time as they transition back in a hybrid (Cohort A / B) model.
- Teachers will communicate any additional information and will be available via Class DoJo and email to address specific questions / concerns.
